The ability to make maplestory mesos fast is very important when you are playing MapleStory because having lots of mesos allow you to buy the best armour in the game, acquire the best weapons which in return will allow you to level faster.
Owning lots of mesos will mean that you can always buy the coolest looking gear to impress all your MapleStory friends!
However, making mesos is only half the story of becoming a MapleStory Billionaire. You must also learn how to save your mesos, turn your mesos into more mesos and to avoid being scammed out of all your hard-earned money!
Today, let's talk about the basics of making Mesos for those who do not already have lots of mesos. If you do not have lots of mesos for your MapleStory characters, then you need to first learn how to make more Mesos.
Just like being in a real life, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. There are several key points which will help to make you a MapleStory Mesos Billionaire faster!
They are:
1. Fighting Monsters for Mesos
2. Questing for Mesos
3. Merchanting
4. Running the Business
5. Cash Shop
To keep this article short, let's only talk about Questing for Mesos in MapleStory.
Questing for Mesos:
Rewards from quests are an easy way to make millions of Mesos. Some quests give rewards that range easily into millions of mesos!
Also, Questing in MapleStory is not just about making more mesos, you can also get great EXP points out of doing quests and they are a lot more fun than just repeated grinding!
There are many great mesos-making quests inside MapleStory that can make you a few Millions and one of them is as follows:
Quest name: John's Pink Flowering Basket
Location: Victoria Island, Lith Harbour
Level Required: 15
To cut the whole story short, an experiment with this quest was done to see how much money one could earn in 2 hours. The end results are a grand total of $532,000 maplestory mesos! This is really quite good, considering that only spent 2 hours of work at level 15 was spent to earn this amount of mesos! This will definitely help to free up money problems for a while!

MapleStory Mesos Definitions Guide
The game Maplestory Mesos definitions of those abbreviations listed below ,read and learn them ,it's helpful!
Auto-ban
This is a system that Wizet has implemented that targets the type of hack you are using. For example, if I say that God-mode is A/B, that means that more-or-less, if you use it; your character will automatically be banned. It will not be removed, since it is so effective. However, it is only in place for certain hacks.
Cheat Engine
Cheat Engine is a memory editor that allows you to edit the behavior of certain addresses, and lets you hack Maple. I'm sorry if this explanation is wrong- please correct me.
UCE
The acronym UCE stands for Undetectable Cheat Engine. This is self-explanatory.
Bypass
A bypass lets you use your Cheat Engine and thus your hacks by getting past GameGuard. There are many types of bypasses, but most are private.
A/C
A/C stands for Autoclicker. This is mainly used for PQ's, where you need to click on the NPC to get into the quest. To use it, you put both prompt buttons in the same place and run the A/C.
CT
A CT is a cheat table. It is designed to make activating hacks much easier.
DMGCtrl
Damage Control, What it does, is make all damage equal 0 (miss), 1, 2 or 3. This is usually combined with No Knockback.
No KB
No Knockback, when you hit a monster, you usually spring back from the damage. This nullifies this effect. This is activated by using a Damage Control script. The two are usually paired together to create the same effect (or close to it) as God-mode did.
GGLess
A private application that lets you run MapleStory without GameGuard running. This is private and only a few people have it and are only releasing it to people with legitimate reasons because this can also be used for pin-cracking…
ML/ML engine
The acronym ML stands for Moonlight. Thus, ML Engine: Moonlight Engine.
AOB's
Array of Bytes. Using these will allow you to update your addresses, however I use GThuggin's auto updater
Maybe is not a complete one, anyone who knows more please leave it in our comment and share with other players ,thank you very much!

Guide To Making Millions of Mesos
So you're just starting out in Maplestory and you're in need of maplestory mesos to buy certain equipment or whatnot. This is the ultimate guide to earn mesos when just starting out, and tips in this guide should be used even when you're level 70, it's that helpful! There are a few basic rules you should follow on your road to making millions of mesos, these rules should guide you throughout the game, even when you aren't a newbie anymore. Let's begin this mesos making guide.
Beware of Scammers, Cheaters, & Thieves!
When you're just starting out make sure you know the ins and outs of scammers in games. Every single online multiplayer game has scammers trying to cheat you out of your mesos and steal anything and everything they can from you. You need to be on the lookout for these sorts of people, what they usually do and how they act. Scammers usually have offers that seem way to good to be true, they will want you to trade your mesos, your items or anything else you might have without them giving you anything in return but a promise of something great in the future. At times they will promise you millions of mesos or super rare items if you give them something at that moment in time, and of course after you give them that certain item they run off and you'll never hear from them again. Also remember probably the most important thing in the game, and that's to never ever give your password or pin to anybody in the game, on any website, or any program that you download! Overall you just need to be cautious and always on the lookout for scammers, if something is too good to be true, it probably is, and if possible try to ALWAYS use the trade system or markets when making transactions for items and whatever else you may need.
Always Have Room In Inventory, Pick Everything Up!
You just killed a monster and he drops a small red potion? Do you pick it up or just say forget it and walk away? If you don't pick it up then that's a loss for you, when you think about it, if you eventually got to level 30 it probably means you killed thousands of monsters, tens of THOUSANDS perhaps! Now imagine EVERY single item you left behind, that you thought wasn't worth picking up, it's so sad when people just leave drops lying around and not pick them up. If you pick up as many items as you can, no matter how crappy or unowrthy they are, I promise you'll be making MILLIONS of mesos from selling them later on. Every time you do a quest, make sure you empty out your inventory before heading out. That way when you're killing monsters you can pick up and collect as many items in your inventory as possible. If you don't make thousands of mesos each trip you make you can come back and blame me for a terrible tip, but honestly you'll thank me for doing so!
The Market Is A Gold Mine!
If you want to buy an item that you need, or you found something that you think could be worth a lot, don't just buy it or sell it to someone right away if you think you're getting a good price. When you do that without checking the market prices you are bound to lose money by either buying something that is overpriced or selling your items way under value. Always check the market, see offers and prices for that item in different places and make sure you're getting the most mesos out of the deal as possible, by either saving mesos when you buy and making mesos when you sell.
Farming Monster Drops
Depending on what level you are, you may need mesos for a certain item that you need, such as equipment or something else that you want. One way I found to getting a ton of mesos is farming certain monsters that you can easily beat and that drop good items that a lot of people want. The best thing to do is as you go along doing quests note down which quests require certain items that you can find on the market, and when you actually do the quests see how easily you can find those items from monster drops and keep that in mind. What you can do now is farm those monsters over and over and over again collecting the quest item drop, plus getting experience, plus getting other items and mesos that they drop. After you do this a ton of items and get tired of it you'll find yourself with hundreds (hopfully!) of that certain quest item, now head over to the market and sell those items! Note: Before you actually do this, make sure that the items you farm are actually worth a good amount, or if they aren't worth as much as you were hoping for maybe the drop rate is really good so instead of getting an item every 20 monster kills thats worth 10k mesos, you can get an item worth 5k but that drops every 8 monster kills, in the long run you'll be making a ton more!

MapleStory Mesos Intro
Description
Meso (plural Mesos) is the virtual currency used in the game 'MapleStory'. This currency is used to either buy items from NPC (Non-Player-Character) merchants or trading with other players. You can earn mesos by killing monsters or selling your items.
Mesos can come in various forms including the most basic and cheap bronze coin, then the gold coin, next a bundle of cash, and then a sack of gold.Meso (plural Mesos) is the virtual currency used in the game 'MapleStory'. This currency is used to either buy items from NPC (Non-Player-Character) merchants or trading with other players. You can earn mesos by killing monsters or selling your items.
You cannot drop more than 50000 Mesos at one time. Saying this, you also cannot drop less than 10 Mesos at one time. You can earn lots of mesos, allowing you to spend it on necessities for your character. You shouldn't waste mesos! There is no limit in how many Mesos you can hold, but there is a storage NPC in each town for you to store mesos in.
Earning Mesos
Are you short on mesos? Need funding to purchase your next equipment? Looking for a way to gain mesos faster? This short guide will list some of the do's and do not's of meso earning for each class.
All Classes
Do Winston's Fossil Dig-up quest. The 30K mesos obtained are a considerable amount for the level (21).
Do the quest Alex the Runaway Kid. The level 25/30 earrings obtained saves you from buying earrings at that level.
Do the quest Fairy's Horn Flute at levels 30-40, as it will give Blue Moon Earrings. This will save you from buying earrings at level 40.
Do the quests "To the New World", "Jane the Alchemist" and "Peace at Eos Tower" at level 40. These quests will give good rewards, boosting your mesos by a large sum. All 3 quests can give a 60% Scroll for Gloves for ATT, which sells for 7-12 million mesos (the actual price depends on the server you are on)
Do the quest Terminating the Dark Force, which is the final sequel to the quest The Ore of Dark Crystal. Although the dark crystal ores might be pricey, they are worth the overall scrolls.
Do Party Quests. Especially for Ludibrium Party Quest, because you may recieve great prizes, such as Capes, Earrings and Scrolls.
Do keep your solid horns or foxtails or anything that can be used for the exhange quest. people will buy them at a higher price as compared to the NPC.
Do keep your money in the bank to refrain from buying unnecessary things.
Do not beg for mesos, it gives people the impression that you are a poor MapleStory player. Some players will get very annoyed when asked for mesos and you might get a defame instead.
Do not sell your ores to NPCs. Instead find someone on the free market and sell it. 100/150 mesos for an ore isn't worth it. Neither should you sell those 1-meso items, chances are, they are worth decent amounts in the market (eg. Omoks, Monster Cards and Scrolls).
Do not do the Showa Exchange Quest, as the pay rates are not worth it at all.
Thieves
(Claw Thieves)-So, you are constantly refilling stars, also buying MP/HP pots, and you have scrolls/equips/etc. to buy. So, seems tough enough. Well here are some small tips that may help you:
Buy Subi throwing stars for training.(will help 'down', the price for refilling stars.)
Despite being weaker, icicles actually cost more to recharge compared to tobis. Try not to use the fanciful stars (wooden tops, snowballs, icicles) as the recharge costs tend to be steeper.
Bowmen
Don't buy arrows from players, since they take more money than they're worth. A arrow can be bought for 1 meso each in the store or made by obtaining 1 prosessed wood (10 tree branches/5 firewood and 1 stiff feather.) Don't use upgraded arrows (Bronze arrows) for training.
Magician
Ice Lightning Mage:
An Ice Lightning mage with their cold beam at level 15 will find fire boars a valuable source of money. At that level, you should be able to kill fire boars in one hit. Ice/Lightning mages should try not to use Lightning Bolt to train at early levels as the MP cost is very high.
Cleric:
Clerics level 43+ with maxed heal should utilize the monkey forest or monkey swamp. Zombie lupins give good drops, exp, and you can mob them up and heal attack them. They drop nice amounts of meso too, and cursed dolls can sell for a nice profit. Zombie lupins are sort of like an upgraded fireboar but for Clerics. In actual fact, Clerics should NOT be losing mesos.
AoE (Area of Effect) When dealing with Area of Effect moves like explosion or thunderbolt, you will save a lot of mesos by sniping mobs instead of jumping into them and attacking. The main advantage of AoEs are their ability to assail monsters, yet giving the mobs no chance of reaching the caster.
Inflation
Like any real world currency, the MapleStory economy is subject to the same flow; because monsters provide an essentially unlimited supply of mesos, the value of the meso has decreased over time. Natural deflation occurs whenever players purchase items from NPCs, or when players who hold mesos no longer participate in the economy, or with an increase in population (not necessarily changing the hands of mesos, but affecting an average income) but mesos are generally created faster than the population can increase to even them out. This leads to continual price rises of various items.
To curb inflation, Nexon provides ample opportunities to begin anew on new servers, yet these new servers ultimately fall victim to the same problems as their predecessors; so, in order to curb inflation on individual servers, Nexon utilizes an escalating tax system in trading, deliveries, and player shops. This has implications for trading; because one can trade in installments to evade taxes, new opportunities for scamming have emerged, as well as disputes regarding the number of maplestory mesos one recieves.

Getting Rich on MapleStory(FAQ)
Q: Getting rich on MapleStory..?
I am play maplestory for about 30 minutes a week since school is back and homework is piling up. And when i'm playing, during that time i use my lvl 13 sin on kradia to kill slimes and orange shrooms. I bought a $10 nexon card on my lvl 33 i/l mage in bellocan and that gave me about 19 mil when i used it on gacha and sold it. Right now, i'm broke so i can't afford any cards. Can anyone give any tips other than pick up everything to get more than 5K each week? I told myself i wouldn't buy those cards...but i'll probably break that promise when i eventually find another job. Please reply freely.

A: Everyone says kill... kill... kill... What you need to do is:
A.) Get scrolls, I don't care how... you can do really simple quests to get them... You'll get some good ones, and those can sell ranging from bad (2 mil) to good (32 mil)
B.) Wait for in game events that require you getting items. There's usually an ultra rare item, and if you get that (haha... very likely) you can sell it for millions! Two years ago, maplestory's Christmas event wanted us to gather the letters MapleStory from killing monsters, and aple tory were easy to get, but the M and S were hard. I found an M, and from that alone I got 14 mil.... combined, people offered me 25 mil! =)
Right now, I'm bored of maplestory, stinkin rich, and yeah.... Hahahahah..... 426 mil... And people, I don't care if you say, oh, I have a gajillion billion mil! =P

A: Kill monsters to get rare equips and sell them I guess. I make 30k or more on my lvl 33 cleric on Windia just by going to the dungeon and killing zombie mushrooms the whole time in 1 hour. I make a profit even though I spend over 40k on blue pots and junk. I did that and I still don't have a chaos robe but good money. You can train there too but it might be boring. I only play 2 hours a week before I quit 7 months ago. Still you can get over 70k a week if you do that. and if you get a chaos robe and don't need it sell it.
A: If you were smart, you'd quit MS or try having some fun on it. Making maplestory mesos on a game means nothing. Sooner or later, you'll find yourself spending all your time trying to make worthless fake gold

FirstKnight's Tip On MapleStory Money Making
Hey everyone! FirstKnight here to give you a tip on how to make money! It might work, it might not.
Tip 1 : "Training"
Training is perhaps the easiest way to make money. Make sure you don't use too much potions, and probably 1-3 hit it. Hope for drops, they are the one-way ticket to make you rich. Make sure you make more money than you spend. For example, if you spent 500k on potions, make more than that. If you can't, you should train on something different.
Tip 2 : "Being a Merchant"
This tip if for people who have a lot of mesos, who want to make even more. You buy scrolls and items for a cheap price from the PQ areas or Free Market, and sell them for a higher price. Sometimes it doesn't work, so I don't really recommend this tip, but for some people, it's a success.
Tip 3 : "Quests"
Quests help A LOT in making money. I recommend doing the quests that give you scrolls, such as "Jane and the Wild Boar", "Jane the Alchemist", "Peace at EOS Tower", and more. 60% Glove Attack scrolls are worth so much now, you'd probably want to get 1. Also, Weapon Attack scrolls are worth a lot, so try getting it from a quest.
These are just money-making tips I use, and I really think they're useful to me. I spend too much, but I always get back what I spend. If you have more tips, please post it here.

How To Buying and Selling Mesos
Buying and Selling is one of the most important activities done in Maplestory. Maplestory Mesos are the currency used in MapleStory and without it you will not get anywhere. This guide will help you with the many problems of Buying and Selling.
Selling - Free Market
The first way to make some mesos is by using the Free Market also known as the FM. When you have something of value (example: ore, rare equipment, quest items) which you don't need, why keep them? Instead, free up your inventory space while earning some Mesos on the Free Market! This process of selling in the FM can be quite stressful, though. There are many scammers, "noobs", and other users who can take advantage of you, so be careful. When you have something you want to sell, make sure you follow these steps.
How to Sell
Price Check. Check the average price of your item. You can ask a friend, use MapleStory Help Sites (such as MapleTip or Basilmarket - a site used just for buying/selling MapleStory items), or just use the NPC x1.5 Method. This method requires you to go into any store, double click on the NPC (Non-Player Character) Shop-owner who's there, and check to see how much they will buy your item for. Now, just multiply their price by 1.5. This works for some items, but not all though, so be careful. Since the shop usually buys the items for 1/2 the price it's bought, you would basically be selling the item for 75% of it's total value. Some items such as snowboards and other event items may only sell at 1 meso at the shops so use your common sense and check at a site.
Find an FM. Now you know the price of your item, let's sell it! You must now find a FM portal. These are located in: Henesys, Perion, El Nath, Aqua Road, Lubidrium, Omega Sector and Orbis(You'll most probably use those in Henesys and Perion more often as the other portals are in locations with higher-leveled and considerably tougher monsters). When you get to the town, enter into the large blue-oval portal, find a good spot to advertise and sell, sell, sell!!
Note that there is only one FM in a channel. This basically means that the Henesys, Perionm El Nath (etc) Free Market portals lead to one place. Tip: Make sure to use either Channel 1 or 2 when selling in the free market. Most people have established the first two channels as the unofficial location of the "Main" Free Market.
Create a Catchy Message. When sell something, you'll need to make your item's advertisement stand out from the rest of the crowds', or at least be noticeable. There are several ways to do this:
Use @. After you've created your selling message, insert in as many "@" signs as you can fit in your message. This will raise up your speech bubble, so it can be seen above the smaller speech bubbles. Or, when there's a load of people doing this, don't use the @ sign, or use less @ signs so yours stands out among the smaller speech bubbles.
Ducking and Jumping. If many people have taller messages, try ducking under their speech bubbles (using the DOWN arrow) to show yours. Or if there aren't too many people broadcasting tall bubbles, try and jump above messages.
Advertising Spots. If you're lucky, you can find a space where no one is advertising. Take this spot so people will be able to see your speech bubble clearly. These occurrences are rare, though.
Retyping. The most important tip - don't advertise just once. If you don't get a trade request right away, (which you shouldn't) retype the message, or, when you're able to type, press the UP arrow to get to your last message - presumably your advertisement. Keeping doing it until you get a request.
Note: If you type the same thing too many times, or give too many messages, a popup appears telling you that your messaging system has been disabled for a few seconds. Try to wait to the last second possible before your speech bubble disappears and you have to type again or make your messages slightly different, add a full stop or take away an '@'.
This isn't all you need to successfully sell an item on the FM though - you need to know some FM lingo.
Free-Market vocabulary
People who frequently use the FM, or trade with people a lot, know the FM slang (FM talk). But, as a beginner, you may not be able to figure it all out (though it's mostly abbreviations). So, here are some of the more important FM terms.
Message Beginners
S> means 'selling'. Look for this when buying items, or to compare prices.
B> means 'buying'. Look for this when selling items, or to compare buying offers.
T> means 'trading'. Not as often as the others, but you will see it from time-to-time. Generally people use a message like this: T>Snail Shells for Mushroom Spores. The first item is usually what they have and the second what they want to trade it for.
Tid-Bit of Info: When you PQ (Party Quest) (Kerning_PQ or Ludibrium_PQ), you may see J>, meaning Joining. And you could also see D>, meaning 'Dropping'.
Meso Terms
k or K, kilo, meaning thousand. Example: 40k = 40 000 mesos.
mil or m, an abbreviation for 'million'. Example: 40M or 40mil = 40 000 000.
The Decimal (#.###). Generally used with millions, and less often used with thousands. You need to understand math for this one. Example: 4.5k = 4 and 1/2 K = 4 500 mesos; 4.55M = 4 550 000 mesos.
Abbreviations
Often people use short forms for items, such as Octo Legs (Octopus legs) or G. Mush Caps (Green Mushroom Caps).
Now you know the most common FM Lingo. But, can you put together an advertisement? Here's an example. This person is Selling some Blue Snail Shells for 20,000 mesos each. (No, I do not recommend selling extremely common Snail Shells, nor selling them for 20 000 mesos each.) This would be: S> B. Snail Shells -- 20k each
Simply stick to the basic outline: Message Beginner + Item Name + Name/Price Divider (optional. This is like the "--" used above. Just separates the price from the item.) + @ (optional.) and you're on your way!
Selling - Random Area
Now you can sell in the FM. However, there are a few differences when trying to sell to other people in other areas. It's the same idea though. First, figure out your price, then, put together your message. Instead of going to the FM, try a popular area, such as the Henesys Hunting Grounds I, in Kerning City next to Lakelis, or anywhere else you can find a large group of people.
Your item would obviously sell best where it's in demand. If there is a popular quest what asks for Squishy Liquids located in Henesys, you can try to stand near the quest NPC and sell there. This is only if the quest is Extremely Popular
Now, use some similar techniques. Try jumping to get peoples attention. You can cover more ground area with Nimble Feet (a Beginner's Basics skill), Speed Pills, Haste (a 2nd Job skill for Assassins and Bandits) or by just not stopping. And make your message understandable. No one wants to buy from someone who says "sell b. s. shl 4.54Kmeso."
But if you don't enjoy walking around and talking all day, you can try the still-advertisement technique.
Still-Advertising
This just refers to advertising the goods you're selling or buying without moving. There are three ways to do this, as shown below.
The free version
You don't have to spend any time or effort for this one, but you do have to be at your computer for as long as you want to advertise. Here, just stand in a popular area and advertise until you sell all of your valuables. Basically, this is just like selling while walking, without the walking.
Game anyone?
Try using a Match Card Game, or game of Omok (2-player games made at the Game Zone in Henesys' Park). You don't have to be at your computer the entire time, but, you will have some unwanted visitors. As well, you can't have a definite price if you want to leave the computer. You need to collect other player's offers, and find the highest price when you come back. Find that user, go to them, and trade. This technique does require some effort; you have to make the game first. But, once that's done, it's really easy. Open up your Item Inventory, and move to the ETC tab. Double click on your game. A window comes up, fill it like so:
Name: Place your selling message here. Keep it short and sweet, but still understandable. If you can, put in that you're not playing your game, just selling items. Password: Leave this unchecked. You want people to be able to get in, and tell you your offer.
Now, press OK and sit back and relax. Your message is permanently displayed, until you want to leave "advertising mode" (just click EXIT to quit the "game").
Attention Cash Shop Buyers!
If you buy items from the Cash Shop using NX Cash, you can buy a "store". Note that this costs REAL LIFE MONEY, and isn't for everyone. With this technique, buy a store, and head off to the FM. Enter in one of the Numbered rooms to the left (preferrably #'s 1-3 on channels 1 or 2). Now, find an open spot that you can use. Double click on your store in your CASH tab in your inventory, and fill out the popup that appears. As I have never owned a store, I can't help you much here. But, I can say that this is only for selling, and there are definite prices, no offering here! The plus side? You can talk to your customers, and can have up to 3 at a time.
Also, If you do not wish to sit around and wait for customers, you can pay more NX Cash to get a 'merchant'. This NPC will watch your store for you, while you do something more interesting. Note that there are two versions of the merchant: a 1 day version, and a 7 day version.
Conclusion
Now you know the main techniques involved in selling items in MapleStory. When you're higher leveled, you can try charging beginners for training (make a party, offer to train them for a price), or with those FM Stores, you can try "selling your advertising spot" if you have one in a high-concentrated channel.
Some Final Tips
Save up money! Try only keeping a certain amount of money in your inventory, and storing the rest with storage NPC. (Non-Player Characters that charge you for the safe-keeping of your items and mesos. These NPCs are found in every town, and share storage between each town, and throughout the server/world. So, if you have one character in Henesys and another on the same world --Scania, Bera, Broa, Windia, etc.-- you can easily transfer items.) This helps to lower that urge to spend more money then needed.
Buy sparingly, sell often. Buy only when you need to, and sell whenever you have something of value. Equipment (at higher levels), quest items and ore (such as steel or mithril or bronze) are often sold and have stable prices you can keep track of.
Become an expert. Buy low, and sell high. Treat the FM as a stock market. "Haggle" ("argue" on a price, lowering and raising it to suit the needs of both the buyer and seller) in order to buy items for less, and sell them for more.
And of course, Have fun!

Cleric Money Cleric Build
A Cleric build designed to make - and save - as much maplestory mesos as possible. It doesn't follow any guidelines on soloing or partying, but is vaguely based on soloing. It focuses on the most financially rewarding skills first, while not binding a player to living their MapleStory life a specific way. I, Naglfar52, thought this build up while trying to figure out a way to save myself from my horrible meso-related difficulties as best I can. If you can catch me on Maple somehow, let me know your opinions on this, be it positive or negative. Just constructive criticism only, please. :)

From Zilch to Millions, For a Merchanting WS
Now you all want to know how to get from zero to a couple hundred million in a short time span. It can be done with quite a bit of hard work.
First, you need some Nexon Cash. The more, the merrier. Part 1: Nexon Cash
Nexon Cash is critical to gaining mesos. You do not have to waste a lot of gachapon, you simply need a store permit. Below is a list of possible stores that are economical.
1. Standard Regular Store permit (18 slots)
This costs 1.8k NX and you can live for about 3 months with this, however, you will not be able to maintain a good FM spot as you will disconnect and ACers will be there to get you. More on ACers in a bit. You will also not be able to restock your store, however, there is no time limit on how long you can be there unless you disconnect or close on will.
2. Two week Mushroom House (16 slots)
This costs roughly 10k NX, but lasts two weeks. You can refresh the store (meaning you it gives you money and clears up a slot) and you can maintain the store at any time. It will not disconnect and you don't have to leave your computer on as it is a NPC. Only con is that it self closes after 24 hours, so you will have to "reset" the store every 24 hours. More on resetting later.
-Summary-
Basically, the cheapest way is to get the regular store permit, but then you can't play MapleStory. Getting the Mushroom house is the most convient way, however if you don't have money to waste, get the regular store permit.
Section Two: Getting Starting Mesos
You need mesos to start any sort of business. It's fairly easy in the world of the free market. First, find any spot between FM 1 through FM 6 in Channel 1 of your world and sell it. To sell a spot, put one single item up and then set a price on it. Different FMs have different prices, so follow this chart.
FM 1 - 2 Million Mesos
FM 2 - 2 Million Mesos
FM 3 - 500k
FM 4 - 100k
FM 5 - 50k
FM 6 - 10k
It's hard to find spots in FM 1 and FM 2, so just try to find any. Once you have 500k maplestory mesos, you're ready to start.
Section Three: Price collection
In order to be successful, you will need to know the prices in the free market. Get a sheet of paper out and draw three columns. The first column is 10% scrolls, second is 60% scrolls and the third is 100% scrolls.
The next step is a very time consuming one, but fairly easy. Go through every single shop in the Free market and find scrolls that have been sold (grayed out). Write down that scroll in the approiate column and put the price. If the same scroll is found later and was sold for a higher price, change it to the higher price on your sheet of paper. Keep collecting prices until you've got over 50 different scrolls. Now you're set.
Section Four: Shopping
It's time to shop. If you're lazy and don't like to communicate, simply find scrolls in the free market and try to find them at a price that is way below the price you've marked on your piece of paper. For example, if a Wand for Att 60% scroll on your sheet of paper is 1.8 million mesos, and someone is selling for 1 million, buy it.
Once you've used up all your mesos or your inventory is full, it's time to set up your store.
However, if you do like to communicate with people, you can go to either the Kerning City Party quest and channel surf saying "Buying scrolls" and try to convince people to sell a scroll to you at a lower price than the one on your piece of paper or go to other locations listed below:
Kerning City PQ
Ludibrium PQ
Orbis PQ
Free Market 1 Channel 1 or Channel 2
I find Ludi PQ is most effective. Remember to channel surf and be friendly.
Section Five: FM Spots
FM Spots are crucial to having business. The better the FM, the better the sales. Try your best to get a spot in FM 1, 2, or 3. Here's a great tip to getting spots:
At roughly 5:00 PM CST (3:00 PM PST), most people come home and want to play MapleStory. Thus, go to FM 2 and sit there and wait for stores to close. Once you see a store close, run to it and grab it.
Another tip is a very rough one. On the next server check, put your character in FM 1 and wait for the server check to be over. Once it's over, immediately login and grab a spot as fast as you can.
Once you get a spot, keep it. You'll learn how to keep it in a bit.
Section Six: Sales
You should be set now, people will start buying from you and you'll gain a profit. From the wand example above, you'd gain 800k maplestory mesos profit.
However, you need to maintain your spot.
Section Seven: Maintaince
Maintaining your FM spot is crucial for sales. If you have a mushroom house, yuo will have to close and re-open the store every 24 hours or so. If you double click your mushroom house while it's open, there will be a timer on the top right corner saying how much time is left. You should close and open the store before that time is out.

GameAngel's Guide to Making Mesos
Table Of Contents
This guide will help you know what to do and what to sell for good money. There are also many good quests which give you some really costly stuff, but most people would like to scroll it, but for me I like to sell it (I have bad luck with scrolls anyways.)
Gathering for Money
Looting
Selling Items
Money Making Quests
Gathering for Money
One way you can earn money is by training on Monsters and just simply taking the items and mesos they drop. This may not be effective until monsters start to drop 200 mesos but you should also take the items they drop, even if they are in the etc section. You may also find equips, scrolls or stars which can be sold for a very high price. Also try to be in 2x drop events, which could help you earn a lot of money and some good equips or scrolls.
Looting
Another way too earn money is looting! Looting may be very effective for Levels 20-40 at Amoria at the Sakura Cellions. Try to find a pro killer(or a noob) that isn't taking the stuff they kill and just loot it. It may not seem effect but after maybe 2 hours you will have 400k. This isn't seen done very often because people prefer to fight for their items and like the exp they get too but if it's possible, try to party with that person. This gives you the ability to take the items immediately and gives you exp.
Selling Items
There are some items that give some very nice amounts of money, but are rare:
Scrolls
60% for weapon/magic attack
Stars
Steely- 8 mil
Ilbis- 15 mil
Overall Equips
Sauna Robe Male[Clean]- 1 mil
Capes
Icarus Cape 2[Clean]- 4 mil
These are only a few of the good money making items.
Money Making Quests
Level 20
Pia and the Blue Mushroom
Scroll for helmet 10% or 60% or 100%
Level 25
Sabitrama and the Diet Medicine
Scroll for overall DEF 10% or 60%
Level 30
Jane and the Wild Boar
Scroll for weapon ATK 60% or DEF 60% (any scroll in this category [random])
Missing the Mechanical Parts
Scroll for shoe JMP 10%/60% or shoe SPD 10%/60%
Level 33
A delivery to A Lost Time
Scroll for 60% for your classes weapon, 60% (choice)
Level 40
Peace at Eos Tower
Scroll for glove ATK 10% or 60%
To the New World
60% for att/magic attk of any scroll(including 60% glove attack)[random]500k-2 mil
Jane the Alchemist

Thats all that I have for now, I'm only Level 41
Hope you liked my guide for Making maplestory mesos!

Making Mesos Using Huckle's Quest
Intro
Hey you, yes, you! Want to know a little secret of mine - making a lot of maplestory mesos. And to me, 75k a day for 15 minutes it quite a lot.
InfoHey you, yes, you! Want to know a little secret of mine - making a lot of maplestory mesos. And to me, 75k a day for 15 minutes it quite a lot.
Here are some things you should keep in mind:
Bowmen shouldn't think of doing this to make meso, its hard to even HIT the monster needed to make 75k a day, sorry. =( If you have a mage for a replacement that would be nice =)
Mages are highly recommended because of the monster's magic attack - Mages have high magic defence. Period.
Sounds great! How do I do this?
Simple. Everyday you visit orbis, and do Huckle's shell quest. You will get 5 scrolls. SInce these are in high demand, they sell fast. Sell for 80k each. Thats a VERY fair price. =)
5 scrolls * 80k = 400k
(Remember Prices are different in all The Servers there around 150k-250k now)
Alternative
Instead of going to orbis everyday, what you can do is to stock up on shells, and transfer them to a side account. That side account is going to the 10th floor and enter huckle's lab. So, every 24 hours you will log in on that side account and finish the quest. Leave those scrolls in your inventory, and when you run out of shells, you can sell those scrolls.
Notes
If you are willing to make a side account that only have shells, read this.
(this will last 2 months)
2,720 Jr. Stieniel Shells +
1,320 Fire Stienel Shells +
1,320 Ice Stienel Shells = 5,360 which will take appox 27 slots in a full etc inventory (28 slots) (take off 200 of each shell group to fit a 24 slot inventory).
Ahh...big numbers time =D
Now we shall look at the big numbers! Because everyone likes big numbers amount of meso, don't you?
Good big numbers:
1 week - 525k
1 month - 2 mil 100k
2 months - 4 mil 200k
3 months - 6 mil 300k
12 months - 25 mil 200k (wow O_o)
Enhanced Guide ( Due to new prices )(New Prices 150k-250k)
1 week - 1,050,000
1 months - 4,500,000
2 months - 9,000,000
3 months - 13,500,000
12 months - 54,750,000 =0
( The highest you can do is around 75mil)
Bad big numbers:
5,360 shells total 2 months
32,160 shells total 1 year (;-;)

Guide to Earning MapleStory Mesos
Introduction
Welcome to Anonymous's Guide to Money Making in MapleStory! This guide is not called Anonymous's Guide for nothing - even though MapleWiki's staff probably know who created this page, I will not say who I am, who my MapleWiki username is, who my MapleStory characters are, and so on. That cleared up, I'll get straight to the point. Mesos. Everyone who plays MapleStory, and probably everyone who is reading this guide, knows what Mesos are. Mesos = Money in MapleStory. And as nearly everyone (particularly the newbies) knows, millions of Mesos are not easy to make within a month. In fact, even with this guide, you still probably won't get to making millions a month. So how do you get that fantastic piece of equipment on sale for 4,455,555 Mesos at the Free Market before it sells out? Well, this guide won't guarantee that you get that item (in fact, there's probably a cheaper copy of the same maplestory item in another store), but it will help you make some Mesos to spend so that you can spend them on that item when you see it. Now, you probably want to see how you can do that, so...
Beware of ScamsWelcome to Anonymous's Guide to Money Making in MapleStory! Now, you probably want to see how you can do that, so...
This is not a method to make mesos, but the first, basic rule you should be aware of when dealing with your money. In a phrase, this rule will help you keep your mesos safe. In fact, you most probably already know this rule. If you don't, read Scams. The name is self-explanatory.
Scams can happen with pretty much anything you own. You could be scammed out of your money, your equipment, your fame, anything, everything. Even your account, if you're unlucky. Scams don't just take place in MapleStory, though that's what we're focusing on. No, I'm not talking about real-life scams, but MapleStory scams on the internet - like the famous Meso Generator. Anybody fooled by that could lose your account. In fact, they probably would - unless the scammer thinks that your account is useless because you only have low-levelled characters. Back onto scams taking place in the actual game itself, they can happen quite often. Never drop your guard to these scams. If you do, you're taking the quick road to losing all your belongings. Because there is no actual way to detect a scam before it happens. Unless it's like that case where someone thought I was a stupid and tried to scam my items out of me in a trade ("i teach you a trick to duplicate ur items" "drop all ur rare stuff on the trade").
These scams are easily detected by people forewarned against them. Most often, this type of "Cheat Trick" scams happen with newbies, because new players are often ignorant (however this type of scam also betrays their own stupidity; new players rarely have any equipment worth scamming).
If you have a high-levelled character and are reading this, you probably already know about this kind of scam. There are other types of scams, but I won't list them on this page. Just bear in mind that if the scammer actually is smart, there is little you can do to avoid scams short of not trading at all. Of course, if you discover you've been scammed, you can always try reporting him to a Gamemaster. The trouble is that the scammer often flees to other channel after completing their scam. Sometimes you will successfully report them before they escape, but such cases are rare. Scams most often happen when dealing with Fame.
Always Check The Market
This is the second rule you should follow to help you save money when buying or selling. This rule is fairly simple as well. When purchasing items from the free market and you see something that you like, DON'T buy it on the spot. Check through the other shops in the market and see if they have the same thing for a cheaper price. Once, a found a stall selling the same item as the shop next to it nearly five times cheaper. And you shouldn't just go to the stalls in the same map. Search every stall in the entire market. You should still find another of the item you saw. If it is more expensive, then you know either that what you saw before was a good deal or that this is person was just an idiot by selling the item so cheaply. If you didn't find anything else at all like it, then you can consider buying it.
Generally, it is better to buy items by going to Channel 1 Free Market and speaking to the jostling crowd than going into the stalls. This is because stalls generally sell items at a higher price, and there is no way you can bargain down the price when buying in stalls. When you can, you should always make offers to bring the price down. Even if it is only by 10,000 mesos. 10,000 Mesos is alot to the lower-levelled (levels 1-20) characters, and by saving 10,000 mesos every transaction, it will eventually stack up and you'll find yourself with a lot more maplestory mesos than if you'd not bargained down the price.
Keep A Space In Your Inventory
Again, this rule is self explanatory. If you're fighting a monster, and a drops a rare item after it dies, you'll want it. Whether to sell or use for your own purposes, you'll want it. But it won't be yours until it is in your inventory. And it can't be in your inventory unless there is a space for it. Even in the case of Etc. items. There isn't much space in your inventory, and there are plenty of Etc items begging for a space, so you should always keep a free space in there for the odd ore or other item you find. If this a weapon or armour, it is even more vital. Equips DO NOT stack, and so you need free space for all new pieces of equipments.
An especially frustrating scenario is when you are trying to free a space in your inventory, and someone else comes along. By the time a space is free, the ten-second limit is up and the other player has walked away with your item.
This often happens in crowded areas, but even in non-crowded spots, you should be careful. Someone may still chance on you. By now, you're probably tired from reading rules that don't actually help you make any money, but don't worry. Here they are.
Making Mesos
Below are small tips and tricks to help you earn, or save more Mesos. Do not look down on them, even if the method seems to give you few mesos, things add up, and you'll soon realize you have more mesos than most others.
Monsters
Of all the methods there are to help you make mesos, this is the simplest. The simplest, the easiest, the most obvious. You have probably already killed a monster and picked up it's drops. This is what this method uses - monsters. Monsters, you and a weapon. This is very easy to do. Equip the weapon, walk up to the monster, press the button you assigned to "attack". Keep pressing until the monster is dead. Well, maybe not quite as simple as that if you don't want to get hurt or you want to use skills, but that's the basis. Just kill monsters for money.
The best side effect of using this method is that you earn EXP in the process, too. Of course, some may be bored by this, as it is repetitive work, and in the case of the Bowman and Thief, may be less productive in the way of money due to the cost of training.
However, Monsters sometimes also drop equipments which can be sold off at the Free Market or to individual players, although it is a rare occurance. If you wish to gain many mesos by using this method, train on monsters that drop valuable items. For example, some train on Red Drakes so you can sell Steelies that you might get. Just remember that you will need to factor in the cost of training, so pick your monsters wisely! That just about covers this entire strategy. Onto the next one:
Faming
Fame. Most will find that this is very popular with high-levelled characters who wish to be at the top of the Fame rankings on the MapleStory website. Some want fame so much that they will even go as far as to buy it. And that is where this method comes in. Fame can be bought, and it can also be sold. Usually, people buy fame for around 100,000 Mesos. Sometimes, they will go so far as to buy it for 1,000,000 Mesos.
But the rules of selling fame are a little different from buying fame. When selling, you want customers. And not many customers can pay 100,000 Mesos for fame they weren't even thinking of getting before you said you were selling it. So lower the price. But not so low as, say, 1000. A good price to set the fame at is 10,000 Mesos (depending on world that you are playing in).
This method does comes with downsides. You will have to be on the look out for scammers. There is no safe way to trade fame between characters, or to trade fame with mesos. Thus when selling/buying fame there has to be trust between both parties, because after recieving the fame/mesos the other character can simply logoff and run away with the fame/mesos. You may only sell fame once a day, so the income you generate from this method is, in a sense, capped.
Trading
The Free Market is a great place to make money in. What I said earlier about checking the Free Market applies double here. What you have to do is find the cheapest rare item or equipment you can afford and buy it. Then sell it to another person for a higher amount. If you do it right, you can get double the amount you paid for, or sometimes even more. Don't try selling it back on the Free Market. With so many people there, it's unlikely anyone will notice you. Even in one of the areas, there will be enough stalls to prevent people from seeing you. Go outside or change channels. With some luck, and enough advertising, you'll get a customer to buy what you've got. The best items to try this with is equipments, since nobody can know where you got it (and trace it back to the free market, where there still might be multiple copies of that cheap equip).
While new players generally do not have alot of money, some still come with a reasonable amount and it is idea to sell them rare items, as there is a good chance they will not know the item's average worth.
Patience and time are required to gain significant mesos. Do not give up. Even if the price seems low enough, always look for people selling it cheaper. Visiting forums will give you a good gauge on the value of an item, as well as the Basil Market website. Buy low sell high is the key to success here.
Events
Try taking advantage of events to gain money. Event items are special, and after that event is over, can go for huge amounts. For example, during the 2006 Valentine's Day event, monsters were programmed to drop Valentine's Roses. While the Yellow Rose was extremely cheap during that time (average price was 1000 Mesos), being the weakest rose, at Christmas, the price would go up. On a another note, during that event, monsters were also programmed to drop Wish Tickets and Red Envelopes. Red Envelopes could be cashed in at a special NPC called "Mr. Moneybags" for a minimum of 1000 Mesos and a maximum of 10,000,000 Mesos. Wish Tickets could also be sold to other players for around 2.5K each during that time, as they could be similarly cashed in at Amoria to Mr. Sandman for various items and equipments.
MapleStory Anniversary events are also to be taken advantage of, as Maple Equips are worth hundreds of thousands of mesos on the Free Market, even if merely Maple Flags. So never underestimate the worth of event items. The simple reason is this: supply stops, demand remains the same, therefore price rises.
Different Classes, Different Strategies
This section lists tips that are specific to different classes.
Beginner
Beginners - well, there aren't any really easy ways to do this, unless you are training to be a Warrior - You will be able to kill Orange Mushrooms with ease around lvl 8-10, which you can find on Maple Island, where you probably are. If you are on Victoria Island, and are still a Beginner, then advance to your class as fast as possible so you can take advantage of some of the other strategies. If you are planning to be Perma-Beginner, try the methods up top.
Warrior
Swordsman (1st job) You deal great damage, so take advantage of it, and kill Orange Mushrooms while others are stuck to Slimes. They will give you more mesos than killing Slimes. In fact, if you have a good enough Swordsman, you can even try slaughtering the monsters around Perion. It's quite possible, with a good enough weapon and well-built character. Though Dark and Dark Axe Stumps are a big step up from Orange Mushrooms and Slimes, it is still possible to kill them with a good level 10+ Swordsman. The monsters around Perion give around 30-50 Mesos and enough experience to boost you into the level 20s.
And when you're at levels 20-25, kill Blue Mushroom and Horny Mushrooms. You should be able to get more mesos than other monsters and you can selling the Blue Mushroom Caps to other players who are doing the quest "Pia and the Blue Mushroom". A suggested selling price is around 100 mesos each, to make a good profit.
There are other ways to get money as a Swordman. Try to max out Slash Blast early, so you can hit more than 1 enemy at once. This allows you to gain mesos more quicky, if you jump into a group of enemies and SB them to death. Also try to kill something that drops equips that you can use, to avoid having to spend money of buying them. Note that Slash Blast takes HP to use, so you should prepare to pay for the cost of healing items or you should put some points into the Warrior's basic healing skills if you want to avoid paying.
Magician
Although there's not too much you can do at the lower levels, at lvl 20-30 you should be the strongest class of all, oweing to your ranged magical attacks (many monsters don't have high Magic Defence) and able to slaughter enemies others wouldn't be able until they're at level 30+. This can be taken advantage of by allowing you to kill the more powerful enemies and claim their plentiful mesos, which should be more than the weaker creatures most other classes are confined to should drop. Also, like with the Warrior, try to kill something that drops equips that you can use, to spare you having to spend the mesos to buy them, though, like all the other classes, if you DO chance upon a rare equip you can't use, you can sell it off for a profit to those who can.
Bowman
With this class, it is somewhat more difficult to make mesos than others. This is because Bowmen don't have overly high strength, don't have skills monsters are weak against, and can't become temporarily immortal, like Thieves. What's more, Bowmen actually consume mesos by needing to spend money for arrows, unless you were lucky and found a Stiff Feather and some Tree Branches or Firewood to take to Vicious to make some arrows with. The one thing they are good at is ranged attacking, however, so that is what you can take advantage of. Find a map you can snipe high levelled enemies at. The map north of Henesys has snipable Blue Mushrooms, and they give good money as well as exp. If you were lucky like me, you may even find they drop a few equips (around level 20 equips) to sell to higher-levelled players.
The Henesys Hunting Grounds on Channel 1 are an excellent place to earn some lazy money. There are plenty of high-levelled grinders there who just kill the monsters and leave the drops (some of the higher-levelled people even leave the ores). While lower-levelled players occasionally pick up dropped equipment, the maplestory mesos are the one thing usually left on the ground. You can just speed through and collect up the mesos left behind by players. Just be careful of Item Vacuum Hackers.

How To Get Rich in MapleStory
Well people keep on asking me why im "So Rich....". So i decided to make a guide on doing so...
Pots...More pots!POTS
Well I always hear people saying how they can earn money if they are burning pots!
Answer : Kill monsters that drop more mesos and expensive item that cost more than ur pots.... You should also take advantage of you skills For Exp: Mages have Mp Recovery which allow you to stop wasting pots and save mesos but it certainly doesnt save time....(this is how to get rich guide not how to save time..)
Buy/Sell
This is for lucky people who come across noobs... Buy low sell high!
For example: last week i saw a noob selling tobis for 1.5 mil.... NO TIME TO THINK OF YOU MORALS AND TELL TEH NOOB ITS WORTH 2.5 MIL!
You take advantage.... Try to bargain it out with him... tomake it sound like he is over pricing it... if your really lucky he will lower it in my case he did ... he sold the tobi to me for 1.3 mil... easy 1.2 mil gain...
I sold as high as possible at 2.5 mil for tobis...
IF your buying items you should look for the people that been trying to sell a certain item for a long time... the are mostly more easy to suade.. Bargain liek crzy!
Hunt!hUNT~
Hunting is always important but it might make you lose money or gain tremendously
You should hunt something that is easy to kill but drops Godly items
Example: Jr yetis... they drop 60% attk scroll (EASY MONEY!)
I found evil wingz l form were wolves ...lost 10k in pots....(found in 15mins.. i know peopel that lost 10 mil in pots still havent found...)Gained 90+mil
Be Friendly!
This is 2nd or most important! I never defame peopel unless they defame me, annoy me for mroe than 20 mins.....or say a racist joke... Befriend as many people as you can...You never know what you get back...(Random69.... you know what im talking about..)
Loot!
pick up every thing !!!! you are nevr too"pro" to pick up stuff... And if a "pro" doest pick up ask him if you can loot and if he agrees pick up every thing...(Cant wait till pets come out...)
Equipment.....
During low levels you should skip equipment inorder to save but during high levls it is not worth seving a few millions in order to save those mills
WHY? because you will waste that amount on pots...
for Exp: i Just bought a int cap for 5 mil... when kill white pangs i usely take 3 shots with the cape i have 2shots....imagine killing 2 million pangs to lvl ... and let say it take 3 more lvl to take the same effects as my cape... it would take 3 lvl of 3 shot which would add up jsut buying the cape... lvling faster and more efficently thus using less pots... and saving money and gainig maplestory mesos
Conclusion...
Pick up every mesos etc you find... 10 mesos is better than nothing(make that you slogan)

How to Get MapleStory Mesos
This guide is ONLY for people who are UNfunded. If you are funded, you might find this guide useless since you already have a character with lots of maplestory mesos. However, you are always welcome to follow this guide to get even richer.
This guide was made to help people gain mesos. Everyone wants to be rich but people do stupid things to get rich that actually will make them poor. This guide will not gaurentee to make you rich to the point you can buy anything you want but it will get you richer than before.
Some people dislike hunting because it wastes money and slows down your leveling speed. That is because they do not know how to hunt EFFICIENTLY. However, if know how to hunt, you can get rich (based on your luck) really fast. Hunting is like gambling. A person who hunts will level WAY slower than a person who trains. That person will also spend much more money than the other. But the reward for the person who hunts is WAY better than the person who trains.

Mesos Making for Low Levels (lvl 30 or below)
How to save money
There are many ways to save money. The most common way people came up with is to spend less pots while leveling. Lets say you are a warrior and you spend about 100 white pots per level power training. If you conserve your hp pots by resting on a safe spot for your hp to recharge, you will spend 0 white pots and only mana pots (if you use any special attacks). You have just saved 100 * 320 = 32k per level on pots ONLY. For mages, this goes with mp. However, this is NOT recommended if you want to level fast for your 2nd job advance. This is an inefficient way of leveling. Also, the money you spend on pots will probably break even from monster's mesos and drops.
Distributing your ap points can save you tons of maplestory mesos. For warriors and mages, putting points into hp recov/mp recov will save you money from buying pots. Saving points for special attacks (lucky 7, magic claw, double arrow, power slash, etc) also will allow you to spend less pots (example: lvl 10 lucky 7 wastes 8 mp but lvl 11 wastes 11 mp and you only get a lil more damage out of it, so save the next 10 points and put them at the end).
Another way to save money is to buy cheaper equipments. For example, a sin with 4 subis and 2 wolbis wants to get better stars to deal more damage. He goes and buy 4 mokbis and 2 icicles. He deals more damage after the stars but spend more than a million mesos. Why not just stick to your subis and wolbis? At your current level, str/int/luk/dex/matk/watk will not increase your damage to the point you can 2 hit somthing that is 5 levels higher than you. So why bother wasting money on that? Remember, don't waste money IS saving money.
How to gain money
Gaining money could be fun and enjoyable. There are three ways to gain money: getting drops, doing quests, and buying/trading items.
Getting drops: Dropping rate is random. There are no tricks to this. This is based on your luck. If you are lucky, you get more drops. If you are unlucky...too bad for you. I can do nothing about it. If you get less drops than others, don't complain or whine. You are simply unlucky. Besides, getting drops is not the only way to make money. However, you can get better drops than others from different types of monsters that will improve your mesos gain per drop.
Doing Quests: Quests are fun to do (for some people at least). I love doing quests. It is fun and you get good mesos/items out of it. Here are some quests that give you decent mesos/items/exp.

Buying/Trading Items: A very important skill that everyone should learn. This could make you as rich as a lvl 70 person if you do it right. First you buy an item that is cheap, then you sell it for high! It is that easy! But this will waste most of your time gathering information on the average price of items, sellers, and buyers. This is not highly recommended if you are still at a low level (due to low amount of mesos).
Leveling areas that will make you rich
From level 10-20 level at slimes, or pigs if you are in the late 20s
From level 20-30 level at bubblings, octopus, green mushrooms, horn mushrooms, tricksters, brown teddy, drum bunny.
Hunting for Low Levels (lvl 30 or below)
How to hunt efficiently
Always, I mean always, hunt monsters that are no more than 3 levels above your level (for below lvl 30 people). Why? First, your accuracy sucks. Most of the you will be missing against high level monsters. Second, your damage sucks. Last, you will not make that much more mesos out of hunting than training, so why bother? You can hunt with a party of 2 or 3, but that is very uncommon. Infact, I rarely see ANY lvl 30 or below people hunting at...lets say evil eyes. They will lose tons of money and the drops aren't that great. For people who want to hunt at higher monsters like fireboars or curse eyes, YOU WILL GET RAPED. DON'T GO THERE YOU WILL WASTE TONS OF POTS, EXP, AND TIME.
Places to hunt
For level 10-20 hunt at pigs (around 10-13), octopus (around 13-17), bubblings and green mushrooms (around 17-20).
For level 20-30 hunt at dark axed stumps and undead mushrooms (around 20-23), wild boars and evil eyes (around 23-27), brown teddy, tricksters and drum bunny (around 27-30).
Pros/Cons
Pros: More mesos, better drops (if you get lucky)
Cons: VERY slow leveling, low damage, terrible accuracy, waste of money, a high chance of dying.
My recommendation
My recommendation is to get to lvl 30 as fast as possible before even think of hunting. Low level people shouldn't hunt due to their terrible accuracy and damage. Most people would like to get to 2nd job as fast as they can. Until then hunting is very boring and ineffecient.

Mesos Making for High Levels (lvl 30 or above)
How to save money
Basically the same thing with the previous one for low levels, except now you have more money and can buy scrolls and more expensive items. Scroll for weapon could cost up to 800k and scroll for armor could cost up to 4 mil! Scrolling items can be highly rewarded but also devastating. A lucky person might get a 10% glove atk on his/her first try and perfect scroll the rest of the slots with 60%s. An unlucky person might end up with only 1 or 2 60%s to work. The cost for a 60% glove atk is at least 2 mil, 2 * 5 = 10 mil. If only 1 or 2 worked, the price of the glove will go down to as low as 1 mil for the 2 atk and 3 mil for the 4 atk. That is a HUGE lost of money and it might happen to anyone. Yes that means you too. I had an experience when I wanted to get a 10% glove for dex to work on a clean wg, so i purchased 32 10% glove dex and made 32 wg (around 3.5 mil). None of the scrolls worked. Don't try your luck with scrolls UNLESS you are rich enough to buy all your weapons/equipments and your scrolls and still have leftovers for another set of equipements and pots. Rather than trying your luck, you can always buy a prescrolled weapon/armor. People tend to sell them for more than the total cost of the equipement and scrolls (if it is decent scrolled) because they got the scrolls to work. Save up your money and buy a GOOD prescrolled armor/weapon that will last you for at least 5 levels. This way you can level up faster and be able to actually sell your item due to high demands for prescrolled items.
How to gain money
Now you are past the first job you should have no problem getting money to afford pots. However, if you want decent weapons and equipments you better know how to gain money or else it will take you ages to get your dream weapon and equipment. Ways of gaining money I've already mentioned in my previous paragraphs are buy/sell, scrolling, quests, and getting drops. All the above 30 quests are mostly profeitable. Trading is a bit different from below level 30. Now you have enough money to invest on better items such as scrolled weapons/equipments, scrolls, ores, and quest items.
If you don't gain money, don't give up. My opinion, level 30-40 is the HARDEST and MOST BORING period of levels. You will depend on drops from evil eyes, boars, fire boars, jr kitties, and curse eyes (exluding the ludi monsters because I do not know their level of efficiency of training) and they drop barely any good equipments that will make you rich. From level 40 to 50, training might still get dull, but the drops aren't as bad. Now, from level 50 to 60 you will notice that you will gain a HUGE amount of maplestory mesos from drops. From level 30-40 I barely made a million, level 40-50 around 3 million, level 50-60 30 million. My point is if you think you are not getting rich from level 30-50, bare the hardships, because after that period you will find your wallet overflooded with mesos.
Leveling areas that will make you rich
From level 30-40 level at brown teddy, drum bunny, fire boars, jr kitties, dark letties, lorangs, latz, pink teddy, Roloduck, Tick, Panda Teddy, Chronos
From level 40-50 level at fire boars, copper drakes, jr pepes, lunar pixies, chronos, zombie lupins, tick tock, Platoon Chronos, Tobo
From level 50-60 level at drakes, clang, umti, wraiths, jr yeti, kitties, hectors, lunar pixies, Platoon Chronos, Master Chronos, Tobo, Master Robo
From level 60-70 level at cargos, tauromacis, dark stone gollems, yetis, white pangs, Soul Teddy, Master Soul Teddy, Buffy, Lazy Buffy
From level 70+ level at...anywhere you want (except for bains, thantos, gatekeeper, Papulatus until 80/90 ish)

Hunting for High Levels (lvl 30 or above)
How to hunt efficiently
Hunt monsters that you can kill within 5 hits that usually have low kb or speed from level 30-60. 70+ you can hunt any monsters you want as long as you don't get killed within 3 hits. Party would be REALLy helpful for hunts. Always have a cleric or an assasin in your party, or both in a big hunt.
Places to hunt
Some places to hunt for level 60 or below are yetis, dark yetis, cargos, tauromacis, taurospears, werewovles, Soul Teddy, Master Soul Teddy, Buffy, Lazy Buffy, Klock, Lucidias, Cerebes
Places to hunt for level 60+ are tauromacis, yetis, dark yetis, Lucidias, Cerebes, ynp, dark ynp, werewolves, lycanthropes, jr rog, c rog, Buffoon, dark klock, deep buffroon, bains, Ghost Pirate, death teddy, master death teddy, dual ghost pirate, Spirit Viking, Phantom Watch, Grim Phantom Watch, Gigantic Spirit Viking, Thantos, Gatekeeper

The Way of Earning Mesos in Maplestory
Earn your maplestory mesos in just a few days! Doesn't matter if you are a beginner, warrior, thief, mage, archer or pirate.
Steps
1.Train and get mesos. PQ will give rewards that you can sell for much mesos. Quests also gives rewards and mesos that you can keep or sell. Make sure you have fun while playing!
2.Do the Orbis or Eos Tower quests everyday for about a week or so and sell all the scrolls you get. Each one can go for about 70-150k, which can get you a lot if you get enough scrolls.
3.Loot or train at Sakura Cellions in Amoria. They give a ridiculous amount of money compared to their level. However, leprehauns in masteria give far more mesos per drop and have a much better drops including steelys and black umbrellas. To go there, first travel to New Leaf City and travel using the free taxi at the far left of the map. Then walk to the left side of the map until you se the portal, this is where the leprehauns roam. (recommened lvl 40+)
4.Try to pick up mesos that are left by other users.
5.During MapleStory events where Maple items are available, hunt for them and then sell them.
6.Try to play during 2x drop rate hours.
7.Try looking through FM for good deals, and sell them.
8.On Sundays, buy items from the 7th Day Market and sell them to the merchant at a higher price.
Tips
•Use New Leaf City-exclusive potions. These potions/foods will heal the most HP and MP with the least amount of mesos used.
•Take all of your monster drops, except for maybe Omok pieces and monster cards.
•Consider buying autoloot maple story mesos for your pet, so they can pick up your mesos while you are training.
•In the 7th Day Market, each item takes up one slot, so you may find it useful if you create multiple characters to hold more items.
•If you are a Cleric/Priest/Bishop, you may find HP potions obsolete if you max "Heal" immediately after a point in Teleport. Heal replenishes all of your HP and most of your party's HP when maxed. You still need MP potions, though.
•If you are a magician of any sort, you will find the skill "MP Eater" useful. When maxed, the skill has a high success rate of taking some of a killed monster's MP and giving it to you. You won't max this very early, though.
•"Mesos Guard" is a skill for Chief Bandits that, when maxed, takes 77% of any damage received and channels it to your meso instead of your HP. At the levels when you'll start using it, 100 HP will cost more than 100 meso. Plus, it helps to take in damage when killing bosses.
•"Invincible" is a skill for Clerics that cancels out 30% of any physical damage taken in when maxed. Ideal for making you use Heal less often.
•"Power Guard" is a skill for Pages and Fighters that channels 40% of any physical damage taken to the monster that dealt it. So you'd only take in 60% of the damage you would've taken if you didn't have this skill in. Less HP potions to buy means more maplestory mesos.
Warnings
•Do not consider hacking, which is MapleStory's equivalent of cheating. It puts you at an unfair advantage to other Maplers who do not hack (the majority) because of the extra EXP and money you'll reap. Not only does it tick off the general population, but it delivers a 30-day ban, followed by a permaban. There was a period known as the "Hacker Era" from around November '06 to June '07 where hacking was almost uncontrollable. Since then, hackers are now rarer to spot. (This is actually false, there are still hundreds of hackers world wide, go to dheat engine forum for more details)
•Do not KS(Kill Steal). There is no real consequence of Kill Stealing other then one given by players, but Fame does make an impact on the game equipment wise. So it is better to play nicely with other players.

Earn Maple Story Mesos Easily for Lvls 30-50
This guide will show you how to earn at least 100k or more maplestory mesos a day! For levels 30-50.
Steps
1.Get to lvl 30. Make sure you make job advancement.
2.Go to the cpq place on ch1 and say Joining pq For Coin Farm!
3.When someone invites you to their party to do Monster carnival, accept it.
4.Keep the party window open, so then you can see which channel your leader is going. If your leader changes channels, go to the channel that he is in.
5.When you start CPQing, Try to go into coin farm.
6.Kill monsters, and when they drop maple coins, get them right away!
When you have collected at least a good amount of maple coins, trade in the maple coins for the level 35 dagger, the Gephart. Each Gephart costs seven coins.
7.While Gepharts are not exactly popular weapons, they get the most bang for your buck when you resell them to NPCs (150k each).
8.Do this again over and over, until you are satisfied with your earnings. You can try to sell other items too, albeit for less of a profit if NPCed.
9.If you want to make a character that only collects money and equips, etc., you can train him to level 50 with CPQ and getting coins while you're at it, when you get to level 50, you can go suicide so you don't level to level 51, so you can do CPQ all over again, and collect as much mesos as possible.
10.(Example: You have a charachter say a mule, you train him to level 50 with a job advancement, and you only want him to collect maplestory mesos, equips, etc., when he gets to about 90%, go to somewhere perhaps Ligators if you're in kerning, or go to pixies if you're in Orbis, or go to Master Chronos if you're in Ludi etc, but make sure you have a return scroll
11.so you can get back to you're nearest town quickly. Then when your character reaches around 10 or 0%, you can start getting as many coins again. If you want to get a lot of mesos, save up about 90 coins, and exchange them -via spiegelmann- for a Spiegelmann's necklace and a Spiegelmann's marble and scroll the marble with the necklace, it should successfully be scrolled, if it didn't, I'm sorry(Lol).
12.So you have a character you don't want to level beyond lv 50, do CPQ over and over again and suicide over and over again when you reach 90%, by at least a week, you should have about 3m a week, if you play a lot and get about 21 coins a day to purchase a Gephart. Good luck getting mesos.
Tips
•You will miss pretty often, even on Teddies, if you are a warrior until around your mid-to-late 30s, normal DEX or not.
•Be grateful of the party leader. Try to listen to his/her instructions. If he/she wants coins as well, let him/her take some.
•By the time you have about 10m in total, purchase about 10 Tobi throwing stars for 1m each if you can and sell them for about 1.3m in FM. Best way is to buy a shop in the cash shop, lots of people go in FM these days and look for Tobis.
•If you have 10 sets of Tobis, sell them for about 1.3m from your maple story account and by the time you sold them all, you will have about 13m. If you keep doing this you will get ilbis in now time.
•If you are massively funded, buy about 3 sets of Ilbi throwing stars for about 15m each if you can, and sell them for about 18m. You should get a decent amount of money by the time they are sold.
•You can also try to buy a set of C-ilbis, you should try to buy them for 95m, and sell them for 99.9m.
•Hunting for stars may take a while, buy the stars with the money you made coin farming, and sell the for more than you buy. (Ex:You buy stars for 1m, sell them for about 300k more(1.3m).)
Warnings
•This may not always work. And after 10 days, you will have about some where 900k. (If you round it.)
•You can work hard to get lvl 50 stuff and sell to npcs or other people, and get even more money.
•Hunting for coins in CPQ may take a while, getting about 21 coins may take about 5 hours if you CPQ continuously. Take a break once in a while, relax for about 30 minutes or take a 15min nap maplestory mesos.

1.Get to lvl 30. Make sure you make job advancement.

Making MapleStory Mesos by hunting
Hello, MapleStory players, this short is found from the site, hope it is informative for you, here we go !
As you have to kill acually, this way is harder than merchandising! This part is more about saving mesos than earning them ! In order to save maplestory mesos, you should fight monsters that you can kill in 1-2 hits consecutivel. That means you always 1-2 hit the monster and not 3, because that would be a waste of pots and time.
Of course, you could use your mana wisely. If a monster takes you 1 maxed Magic Claw to kill (20MP) and you can consistantly kill the monster with 3 minimum lvled energy bolts, (6MP) and that is 20 mana versus 18 mana. That way, you are conserving 2 mana! Even if you think 2 mana is nothing, wait till you hear this! You regenerate mana every 10 seconds and let's say you cast a spell every second.
In 10 seconds, that's 20 mana! Wasted! If you regenerate 40 mana each time, you will only heal 20 instead! And let's not forget about Magic Guard. But if you cast 3 seperate spells, that will take up 3 seconds to cast and and you will cast 3 spells in the 10 seconds and 6 x 10 is 60MP and 20 x 10 is 200MP. In this way you kill less enemies, but the good news is you could save a lot more maple story mesos XD !
Also, It will have the most expensive NPC drop if you hunt for monsters, because you want to spend too much time advertising to sell stuff.

Making Mesos in Maplestory
In Maplestory, there are many different ways you can make maplestory mesos for yourself. The best way, however, is Merchanting.
Merchanting requires a lot of skill and patience. You must keep up to date with the latest prices for your merchandise and it is recommended that you have you own store to set up in the free market (fm), which costs 1.8k NX points ($1.80 US). You must also have some money to start your business.
Merchanting is a full time job, however, and will steal time from your training sessions. It requires dedication and hard work to be successful, but is worthwhile in the end.
To start merchanting, it is recommended you first buy a 'Store Permit' from the Cash shop in-game and have 1 million mesos+ on hand already. Next, choose the item/group of items that you want to sell and learn their average price (you can do this by going to basilmarket.com and finding the item in an auction). Proceed to finding merchandise that match what you are searching for and are less than the average price. You have to decide how much you want to buy as well. It is not recommended for you to buy as much as you possibly can with all your money, however, because if the value of your item(s) goes down, then you will lose maple story mesos. You may even go bankrupt. Set a set amount of money on the side in your storage as your savings just in case something does happen.
Next after you buy your merchandise, the next thing you must do is sell it. It is helpful if you write down how much you buy and sell an item for in a spreadsheet or list of some kind. Make sure you sell your merchandise for MORE than what you bought it for, this is key to a successful business and is common sense for anyone looking to make maplestory mesos. You can do this either by setting up your store if you have one, or spamming your "S>" followed by the item you're selling in the channel 1 free market entrance. This area is usually quite occupied by many people trying to sell their own things so your computer must be able to stand the lag created by the many people("Lag" is the decline in computer speed). Be sure to take into account the in-game tax that is charged with each transaction. You can find the rates in the trade screen in-game.
Once you sell all your merchandise, it is probably a good idea that you get your spreadsheet (if you made one), tally all your costs and profits, and look at the Maplestory website to see any upcoming events. It will probably help you later if you do, but if not, you can go right back to buying your merchandise again. Buying low and selling high, it is what merchanting revolves around.
While you are buying and selling all of your merchandise, you should take some time to watch the prices. If you see prices dropping after you bought your merchandise, you must make a choice. Sell all your merchandise as soon as you can, or wait till prices go back up.
Sometimes, the prices will recover quickly, and in that case, it would be better to hold on to your merchandise and sell it later. Other times, the prices will go down and keep dropping. In that case, it is best for you to sell your merchandise ASAP. This way, you have the least amount of deficit. Whichever way, it is just part of predicting item prices. If you are good at it, you will be able to foresee the prices and make the right choice. It is best to do so anyways.
Merchanting takes a lot of time and patience. It takes quite a bit of skill as well. Remember, it is not as easy as it seems, but if you follow these tips, you will no doubt be successful later. 1) Know what you want to merchant and focus mainly on that. 2) Make a spreadsheet for your sales, it helps you organize. 3) Watch the prices and plan 5 steps ahead (predict the prices). 4) Make friends with other merchants. There are different kinds of merchants, so you don't need to befriend rival sellers. They can help you.
There is one more point I have to make. The first one is to watch, merchants are not often liked by the general public, so they tend to get a lot of defame. To avoid this, you should create a fm mule, a maplestory account (usually low leveled) that is used primarily for merchanting. That way, you don't fill up your main character's inventory with your merchandise and get him/her lots of defame. With that said, good luck with your business, and remember: Riches don't come instantly, but rather with perseverance and hard work.

Obtained Mesos In MapleStory
Here are some Mesos level guides in MapleStory that I got from other website, and hope you like it.
a. Do Winston's Fossil Dig-up quest. The 30K mesos obtained are a considerable amount for the level 21.
b. Do the quest Alex the Runaway Kid. The level 25/30 earrings obtained saves you from buying earrings at that level.
c. Do the quest Fairy's Horn Flute at levels 30-40, as it will give Blue Moon Earrings. This will save you from buying earrings at level 40.
d. Do the quests "To the New World", "Jane the Alchemist" and "Peace at Eos Tower" at level 40. These quests will give good rewards, boosting your mesos by a large sum. All 3 quests can give a 60% Scroll for Gloves for ATT, which sells for 7-12 million mesos
e. Do the quest Terminating the Dark Force, which is the final sequel to the quest The Ore of Dark Crystal. Although the dark crystal ores might be pricey, they are worth the overall scrolls.
f. Do Party Quests. Especially for Ludibrium Party Quest, because you may recieve great prizes, such as Capes, Earrings and Scrolls.
g. Do keep your solid horns or foxtails or anything that can be used for the exhange quest. people will buy them at a higher price as compared to the NPC.
h. Do keep your money in the bank to refrain from buying unnecessary things.
i. Do not beg for mesos, it gives people the impression that you are a poor MapleStory player. Some players will get very annoyed when asked for mesos and you might get a defame instead.
j. Do not sell your ores to NPCs. Instead find someone on the free market and sell it. 100/150 mesos for an ore isn't worth it. Neither should you sell those 1-meso items, chances are, they are worth decent amounts in the market.
k. Do not do the Showa Exchange Quest, as the pay rates are not worth it at all.

Gain and Save Mesos Guide in Maplestory
Want to become rich in Maplestory? At first, you should learn how to gain and save money in Maplestory. The below are some guides i collect from other site. They are divided into two parts: one is for low leves and other one is for high levels. Enjoy:
Making for Low Levels (lvl 30 or below)
Distributing your ap points can save you tons of mesos.
I'm Bored
Teo's reminiscence
Nella and Kerning City Citizens Request #1
Nella and Kerning City Citizens Request #2
Pia and the Blue Mushroom
Shumi's Lost CoinCamila's Gem
Sabitrama and the Diet Medicine
Mystery of Niora Hospital
Jane and the Wild Boar
Shumi's Lost Bundle of Money
Nemi's Dilemma
Toy Soldier's Walnut
Now, from level 50 to 60 you will notice that you will gain a HUGE amount of money from drops.
Pros/Cons
Pros: way better drops than regular training, fun, more mesos per monster
Cons: wastes time, spends more money on pots than regular training, chance of dying

Now, from level 50 to 60 you will notice that you will gain a HUGE amount of money from drops.
